Therapy Designed for Real, Lasting Change
Many people come to therapy because of anxiety, burnout, depression, trauma, or relationship pain. But often those struggles are not random. They are tied to deeper patterns shaped by childhood environments, attachment wounds, chronic shame, identity pressures, or ways of surviving that once made sense but no longer fit who you are becoming.
My work is for people who want more than temporary relief. Therapy with me is designed to help you understand the deeper structure beneath your symptoms so you can create change that feels real, grounded, and lasting.
Common Issues I Work With
*Childhood trauma and attachment wounds
*Anxiety, overthinking, perfectionism, and emotional overwhelm
*Chronic stress, burnout, and nervous system dysregulation
*Codependency, people-pleasing, and self-sacrifice
*Narcissistic abuse recovery and repeating relationship patterns
*Depression, shame, and low self-trust
*Racial stress, identity-based stress, and systemic stressors
*Men’s mental health and identity development
*Adolescent boys’ mental health and identity development
*OCD, eating disorder recovery, couples counseling, and parenting support
My Approach
I integrate ablend of psychodynamic therapy, trauma-informed cognitive behavioral and neuroscientific approaches, mindfulness, self-compassion, Buddhist psychology, liberation psychology, attachment-based work, and depth-oriented approaches to healing.
In practice, this means we slow things down and look closely at the patterns that keep repeating in your life. We pay attention to the ways you may have learned to survive through overfunctioning, people-pleasing, emotional shutdown, hypervigilance, perfectionism, self-sacrifice, or losing your voice in relationships. Together, we explore what those patterns once protected, why they persist, and how they may now be limiting you.
As these patterns become more conscious, therapy with me helps you begin separating your authentic voice from fear, shame, old roles, and attachment-based identities. We combine deep insight with practical change, so the work is not only reflective, but lived and liberatory.
Depending on your needs, our work may include:
*Understanding trauma responses and relationship patterns
*Building emotional regulation and nervous system flexibility
*Strengthening self-trust, self-compassion, boundaries, and life clarity
*Using mindfulness and contemplative practices to observe the mind and subconscious
*Exploring how culture, environment, and systemic pressures shape your inner life
*Reconnecting with values, desire, and a more grounded sense of self
*Explore subconscious desires and behaviors as they relate to past childhood wounds
My style is warm, direct, grounded, and relational. I want therapy to help you heal at the root—not just manage symptoms.
